Mazars sponsors the France-China 50 year
Mazars joins the Sponsors Committee of France-China 50, an initiative of Institut Français whose role is to act as a catalyst for new and more ambitious “diplomacy of influence” under the supervision of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
France and China are celebrating the 50th anniversary of their diplomatic relations throughout 2014, with a complete programme of events in key French and Chinese cities. These events aim not only to highlight the different facets of Franco-Chinese bilateral relations but also to reinforce the ties between the two countries as well as to demonstrate their dynamic approach to a wide range of areas such as scientific cooperation, cutting-edge technology, healthcare, environment, lifestyle, artistic creation, tourism and economics.
Mazars has been present in China since the early 1990s, when we were operating in Hong Kong only. The Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou offices were inaugurated over the next decade and today, Mazars counts more than 600 professionals in China. Mazars is particularly honoured to be part of this initiative and sees it as an opportunity to strengthen our ties with a country that is of critical importance to our Group.
