10 things to know about accounting in China
Christopher Hock, Wang Jianmin, and Christophe Texier, respectively Head of the German desk, Partner, and Managing Partner at Mazars’ Beijing office, give a presentation on the topic “10 things you have to know about Accounting in the PRC” at the German Center in Beijing on October 13th, 2010.
The objective of this presentation is to present accounting in China from a practical point of view, with a focus on day-to-day accounting practices.
After a short introduction of Chinese accounting principles’ origin and specificities and major differences with German accounting principles, the speakers will further address internal control, fraud risks, tax, financing, and exchange control issues.
