Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism
In July 2021, the European Commission presented its ambitious legislation package to supports its commitment to reduce net greenhouse gas emissions within the EU by at least 55% by 2030 (compared to 1990). From an international trade point of view, the most important part of the package is the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (“CBAM”).

Dutch budget day 2023
On 20 September 2022, the Dutch government has presented its Tax Plan 2023 to the House of Representatives. In this Tax Plan the government has proposed its plans that will take effect from 1 January2023.
